Fees cover the cost of venue, publications, materials, and the support of non-profit activities of the Bonner County Gardeners Association.

Bonner County Fairgrounds Beautification Project

The Bonner County Fairgrounds is a very popular venue to hold community events. Between fundraisers, trade shows, RV camping and annual events such as the Draft Horse Show and the County Fair many people pass through the fairgrounds annually. There are some 50+ events occurring there throughout the year. The Association embraced this project in 2011. Please stop by the Fairgrounds at any time to enjoy the completed beautification project in front of the Main Exhibit hall. 

Gardening Questions Answered at Farmers Market

The BCGA has a table at various Farmer’s Markets to answer general gardening questions. Feel free to stop by with questions about home horticulture in Northern Idaho. BCGA members will be working at the following markets:

Sat. 7/30 - Sandpoint Farmer’s Market 9am – 1pm

Fri. 7/22 - Hope Farmer’s Market 2:30pm – 5:30pm

Fri. 8/19 - Hope Farmer’s Market 2:30pm – 5:30pm

Sat. 8/20 - Sandpoint Farmer’s Market 9am – 1pm

2011 Annual Garden Tour

Bonner County gardeners opened their gardens to the public on July 3rd for the BCGA Annual Garden Tour. The gardens were lovely and the event was a huge success. We hope to see you at next year’s Garden Tour to be held the Sunday before the 4th of July!
